bringing back the 90s and 2000s

Later Skater was formed with a single mission: to bring the 90s and 2000s back in style! We take pride in re-creating classic alternative tunes from 1990 – 2009 and performing them with a focus on authenticity, bringing an enthusiastic energy that keeps the audience pumping!

Meet the band.

  • Dani – Vocals

Born in Philly. Grew up in New Mexico and studied Music and Theater in Los Angeles at the American Music and Dramatics Academy. Dani loves Hole, Bikini Kill and Babes in Toyland. When she's not doing something music-related, you can find her with her head stuffed in a high fantasy book.

  • Ryan – Vocals

A singer since childhood, Ryan also started playing guitar at age 16 and continues to dabble in bass, percussion and all forms of music making. A musical jack of all trades, Ryan can just as easily be found performing in a musical, singing in a choir, or busking on a street corner. Alternative 90s music was the formative soundtrack of his teenage years that started Ryan on his musical journey – which has now come full circle!

  • Paul – Bass

Born and raised in South Jersey, Paul has been playing bass for over 30 years. Originally a guitar player, Paul started playing bass in high school when his twin brother’s band needed a bass player. He’s played in various original, tribute, classic rock, hard rock and party/pop/rock bands across the tri-state area. His influences include Tool, Yes, Rush and various progressive rock bands. Paul enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, watching and supporting all of the Philadelphia sports teams, and visiting family in Florida.

  • Jason – Guitar

Since the early 90s, Jason has played everything from punk and rock to electronic music to hip hop. Sometimes on guitar, sometimes on vocals or behind the boards, he’s always focused on creating strong, groove-oriented music. Jason’s past projects include 56 Side Effects, Apt B-Boy, and Satanic Panic of the 1980s. Jason also sings and plays guitar in Rock Improv-A-Ganza, “The World’s Only Musical Improv Game Show!”

  • Steve – Drums

Steve started drumming in original bands, first playing in Cuppa Joe in the 90s and later moving on to Restraining Order in the 2000s, recording and performing all over New Jersey as well as in NYC and around the Philadelphia region. Along with Jason, Steve plays in the musical improv game show Rock Improv-a-Ganza. Steve spends his free time playing classic video games, designing graphics, and watching horror movies.
